Precautions for transportation of aluminum coils and aluminum sheets

Aluminum coils and aluminum plates are relatively corrosion-resistant, but if they are exposed to rain during transportation, it will cause uniform corrosion on the surface, affecting the appearance during use. Therefore, aluminum plates, aluminum strips, embossed aluminum plates, etc. must be protected from moisture and rain during transportation. Anti-corrosive liquids must not be mixed with moisture, oil, chemical raw materials and other materials to avoid local or corrosion, which will make the aluminum plates or aluminum materials scrapped.

　　The hardness of aluminum plates is generally low, so it is also necessary to prevent bumps during transportation, especially aluminum foil is more prone to bumps and dents. Therefore, protective measures must be taken during loading, unloading and transshipment, including using soft belts for slings and corner guards where the aluminum plates come into contact, to ensure the safe arrival of the goods.
